I am so happy we decided to work with Mai. It was our first time working with an interior designer, so we didn’t know what to expect, but from day one, Mai clearly and thoroughly explained the whole project process. She also was constantly updating us on how things were going. Part of her work besides designing was finding the materials, and she made that part of the project go smoothly. She brought samples, and from there, we chose. Almost 90% of the materials had the option to be bought online, which made everything easier. Mai designed a kitchen where all the family felt happy and comfortable, and she brought aesthetically pleasing and modern ideas. My wife and I had the best experience working with Mai for our son's nursery. The room was originally a home office and our timeline for the project was rushed for a number of reasons. Mai's enthusiasm, originality and congeniality are just a few reasons why she was the right choice among the designers we were considering. From start to finish, Mai's professionalism and resourcefulness really showed. A major highlight was the fact that we were able to carve out a significant amount of floor space because of Mai's maneuverability with various appliances and furniture pieces. Overall, the nursery is everything we wanted - functional, inviting, aesthetically pleasing and homey. Initially we had used a virtual design service to re-imagine our humble 1950's ranch. They missed the mark. Mai was able to take the virtual images to a whole new level- and include a transformation of the landscaping as well (something the virtual designers don't do- but SO important for aesthetics!). We LOVE our exterior makeover by Mai Spaces. We get so many compliments. Thank you Mai!
